A couple of weeks ago I got involved with a project designed to give school children an experience of TV production. Our project group conceived of a short live TV show that the children could put together. We titled the show morningTV – a GMTV style variety show.

We put together a script for a 10 minute show which incorporated a few live segments using 2 studios, including a green screen. The children directed, vision-mixed, operated cameras, and presented the show, with some input from group leaders. We had a great fun doing it and I think the kids did too!
